Entry Requirements for Pets to Enter Korea from Most Countries
Medical Requirements :
Rabies
The anti-rabies vaccination must be valid at the time of travel.
Complete the rabies titration test (blood sample) three months before traveling. The results are valid for 24 months.

Hendra and Nipah virus
This only applies to cats from Australia and cats and dogs from Malaysia. You will need an additional government certification no cases of the diseases in the region or a negative test 14 days before arriving in Korea.
Documentation Required such as APHIS Health Certificate and how to get it:
An official government health certificate that includes the verification of the rabies vaccine and rabies titration test is required.
For pets coming from the US, you need a health certificate issued by a USDA Accredited Veterinarian and endorsed by USDA. You can find a copy of the certificate on the APHIS website. The certificate is valid for 30 days.
Entry Requirements from Rabies-free Countries
A rabies titer (blood test) is not required. Other documents such as a health certificate still apply.

Korean Pet Microchip Requirements:
ISO-compliant microchip* connected to rabies vaccines
Korean Quarantine Requirements:
The officer will inspect all paperwork and if the animal appears healthy during the exam, the pet will be released the same day. Concerns about the animal’s health or problems with the microchip will trigger a quarantine until the issues are resolved.
A rabies titer (blood test) is required to enter Korea. If the test is not completed, the pet can stay in quarantine until the test timeline has been completed.
Breed Restrictions:
Tosas, American Pit Bulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, and Rottweilers or mixes of those dog breeds.
Number of pet restrictions:
For 10 or more pets you have to supply an advance notification form to the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency (APQA) and obtain prior approval.
Puppies and kittens under 90 days:
If a pet is under 90 days, they do not have to be vaccinated against rabies or get a titer test
