Slovenia ranks as one of the top dog-friendly locations we’ve encountered. Finding accommodations, visiting eateries, shops, and utilizing train transportation across the country with our Maltese were all super easy.
We noticed well-cared-for dogs all around, without encountering any homeless dogs or unsightly messes. We even saw dogs joining their owners on the Vogel gondola for hiking adventures—although they were required to wear a muzzle during the ride, which seems reasonable.
